Our home is situated near the village of Bagnols, within the largest national park in France.

The Parc Naturel Régional des Volcans d’Auvergne, covering an area of over 395,000 hectares in central France, is home to over 80 volcanoes and countless mountain peaks, sparkling rivers, beautiful lakes and dense forests.

Bagnols is a friendly village, with bars, a baker, butcher, general store, bank and hairdresser. There is an outdoor swimming pool and forest fitness trail, plus miles of paths and tracks for walking or mountain biking.

The house is surrounded by countryside with far reaching views of the Mont Dore mountains and the river Tialle is close by.
